LeanZero

Two people in Romania doing Atlassian migrations, Forge apps and practical AI work for teams that would rather talk to the person doing the job. Most of what we learn ends up on this site.

Atlassian license management by prompt: what CogniRunner's Jira AI agents can do now

A CogniRunner AI agent set up from one paragraph, then given a plan I tightened by hand, counted 32 Atlassian products on 17 sites. A second agent took one Confluence license away only after a person approved. Plus a workflow validator that stopped Claude Code twice, a Forge app deployed through Bitbucket Pipelines, the safety design and the token bill.

Atlassian Team '26 Europe on demand: the keynotes and sessions worth watching

Atlassian Team '26 Europe on demand: six keynotes are already on Atlassian's YouTube channel, the library opens on 12 October (11 October in the FAQ), and these are the sessions I'd watch as a Forge builder or Jira admin.

Atlassian Team '26 Europe Founder Keynote: agents on the Jira board, then a power cut

The Team '26 Europe Founder Keynote as I saw it from the hall in Amsterdam on Wednesday 7 October: agent sessions from Cursor, Codex and Claude Code on a Jira board, AMP, a lot of Rovo, a power cut, and a day showing our Forge apps to Atlassian's people.

Atlassian Partner Accelerate at Team '26 Europe: Forge, revenue share and who we met

Atlassian Partner Accelerate, the partner-only day before Team '26 Europe, was for us a day of meeting solution partners and other Forge app builders. Here is what was on the screens about Forge and Teamwork Graph, the Marketplace revenue share that applies from 1 October 2026, the partner tiers, how we shared LeanZero by QR code, and a little of Amsterdam.

Atlassian Team '26 Europe: dates, agenda, keynote and livestream times

Atlassian Team '26 Europe runs 6-8 October 2026 at RAI Amsterdam. The Founder Keynote is Wednesday at 09:00 CEST (08:00 UK) and free to watch without registering. Here is the agenda by day, the keynote times, how to watch online, what Anaheim announced in May, and the three places where Atlassian's own pages disagree.

"Uncaught (in promise) Error: Unable to emit ready event." in a Forge Confluence macro

You added emitsReadyEvent to a Confluence macro to speed up PDF export, called view.emitReadyEvent(), and every normal page view now logs "Unable to emit ready event." The shipped @forge/bridge source says why it happened, why it was harmless, and which version made it stop.

Six pieces of owner feedback, and what each one actually turned out to be

"The request stays available even if I approve it" was a missing else branch. "I cannot tell which image is which" was a 5 MB base64 preview we had hidden to save bandwidth. What users report and what is wrong are rarely the same sentence.

v0.4 of our Atlassian model: 21 of 25 apps compile, and the loop that was a diagram

Three days after v0.3, the Qwen3.8-27B we teach Forge went from 12 of 25 compiling apps to 21 of 25. On the way our own release rule rejected it, correctly by its own text, over a 40-character window repeated 13 times at 32k context. The window was a line of box-drawing characters in an ASCII diagram. Here is what changed, what the metric got wrong, and what we changed so it cannot happen the same way again.

I taught a 27B model to write Forge apps. As far as I can find, nobody had done that before

Qwen3.8-27B knows almost nothing about Atlassian Forge: ask it for an app and it invents a manifest format and imports packages that do not exist. Over four days on one Mac Studio I trained it until 14 of 25 manifests passed Atlassian's own validator and 12 of 25 apps compiled, from zero. The weights are public. Here is what it is, what it is not, and why I think it is a first.
